Our History
House of Healing, Inc. was originally founded in 2001 by Shaleana Eubanks-Worlds as a community program focused on healing hurts and restoring hope to unwed pregnant and parenting teens. Once a pregnant teen herself who felt hopeless, alone, and stressed out; overcome the obstacles of life and today is a successful community leader and advocate for women's health. Ms. Eubanks-Worlds knows she could not have beat the odds without God, family, and the support of her community. Today House of Healing is a conglomerate of educational, health, and psycho-social support programs that endeavor to meet the needs of the whole family.
Mission
House of Healing's corporate mission is to provide a comprehensive educational and social support system that will build the capacity of individuals, unify families, and strengthen communities.
